For The Amazing Michael Spain: Memorial Fund

Hi! My name is Melisa Tablada, and I started this GoFundMe for my dear friends Lance Marinelli - Spain and his loving  husband Michael Marinelli - Spain. Michael and Lance have a beautiful love story that is the envy of all. They fell in love, bought a house in Palm Springs, got married immediately afterwards, and were ready to start a beautiful life together. 

Shortly after they were married, Michael was diagnosed with rectal cancer that spread to his lymph nodes, and then to his Gallbladder. Hence, the fight for his life began. The chemo did put his cancer into remission for a short time. But, his cancer came back, and spread to both lungs making it very hard to breathe.

 Michael was a fighter and had been battling cancer now for a little over 2 1/2 years. Yesterday, Michael went home surrounded by family and friends. Later that same day, Peacefully, Michael transitioned to God 02/20/2022 at 4:20pm with Lance in his arms. He is soaring with the Angels. He is free. 

Through your amazing and generous donations, Michael was able to purchase a  Portable Oxygen Concentrator that  allowed him the comfort, and ease to be able to go to his chemo visits, and enjoy time away from his home (quiet dinners and enjoying the outdoors when he physically could) with Lance. Your donations also helped to ease the medical expenses for him as well.
