Hi, my name is Michael Sistrunk, a dedicated truck driver and family man. I'm reaching out to share my story and ask for your support during this challenging time.

On August 4th 2024, my life changed forever due to a severe slip and fall in my bathroom. Doctors referred to it as a "death fall," as many don't recover from injuries like mine. spinal surgery is my only option. After over a month at Emory Healthcare ICU and extensive physical therapy, I was finally able to come home, but still have a road ahead of me.

Currently, I am unable to work as a truck driver or take care of my family, and I've had to ask my sister to move in to help with my care. I've been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, which narrows the spaces within the spine and causes painful pressure on my nervous system. This has resulted in intense pain and challenges that make daily activities difficult. As someone who has always dedicated myself to my work and family, it's heartbreaking to be in this situation.

We have exhausted our savings, and although I never intended to ask for help, I now fine myself in that position. The funds will go toward medical bills, therapy, and essential living expenses as I focus on my recovery.
