Support Michael Neubauer’s recovery
“Hi family and friends, I’m writing this with tired eyes but a hopeful, grateful heart. I hate how impersonal this is but it is a quick way to give an update. Tonight Mike Neubauer was in a bad accident while operating his new tractor. He was life flighted to Loyola in critical but stable condition. He remained and continues to remain conscious despite a crushed pelvis and many other broken bones/injuries. The doctors have been amazing and told me he is quite lucky to have not suffered damage to major organs with the severity of this accident. They say luck but God was present and remains present in this situation. We are truly in HIS waiting room right now. Mike will need surgery tomorrow to repair his pelvis, hand, arm, and anklet. Please continue to pray for him. Please pray for the team of doctors and surgeons. Please pray that his body is on a healing path and for the long road ahead. Michael, a firefighter paramedic with the Orland Fire Protection District and his family are devout Christians who constantly do for others. Michael and Morgan are heavily involved in the running of a school and many other aspects of a community in Guatemala. The couple also adopted three children from Bulgaria and provided a loving home that many like them may never see. Between these acts, many fundraisers, and overall real estate advice for a bunch of his dumb fireman friends Mike and Morgan are the ones who need help this time.
If you can, please try to help Mike and his family during this difficult time as the have done for so many already.
I work with Mike at Orland fire the funds that we are raising here are going to be used toward medical bills, possible childcare needs to help out Morgan, and anything else that might make this process even just a little bit more tolerable. Periodic withdrawals have been set up per the terms of service with go fund me and at that time I will be distributing the funds to Michael and his family.
