Some of you may know that we have a close friend that is in the middle of a battle. We are standing with and supporting Michael Miller in his battle with extensive small cell carcinoma lung cancer. They are calling it extensive because it has reached a lymph node in his left lung. There is no time to waste and Mike began receiving radiation treatments this week to reduce the lymph node pressing on his trachea. He will complete this round of radiation Monday, June 3rd, 2024. Then he will receive a 4 1⁄2 hour chemotherapy treatment next Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, followed by 2 more next week. He has an MRI of his brain scheduled for next Friday, June 7th, 2024. At the conclusion of the chemotherapy treatments, he is scheduled to then receive 20 more radiation treatments. These extensive time sensitive treatments that are not only difficult on his body, but also are very costly.

We would like to support Mike and Nikki with any of the medical expenses that are being incurred and will be incurred during this battle. We hope this will help reduce the monetary burden so Mike can focus on what is most important, healing and spending time enjoying his precious family and beloved friends.

His family includes his precious wife Nikki and the “Miller Babies” (Daphne Ann, Wallace, and Hope) are so very special to so many people. Nikki and Mike are the most giving souls. They both have dedicated their lives to serving others in ways many of us never do. Each of them provide service to others over self. They are the model of what Gandhi described “The best way to find yourself is to loose yourself in service of others”. Mike works so very hard and makes everyone feel they are special that he meets. He is 100% present when you are around him and he is a rare soul. Now it is our time to give back to them in any way we can. Everything can help.
