Support Michael McHugh's Road to Recovery

Hello everyone, some of us call him Michael, others Mike, and some others Big Mike but all of them represent the embodiment of kindness and goodwill that is Michael McHugh is. He often helps others and never asks for anything in return. He quietly deals with whatever he's faced with, with grace and resilience. When he needs help, he never asks for any but now he needs our help.

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 11:00 PM, Mike was in a head on collision with an oncoming driver who apparently didn't see him coming. He has been injured and the injury list is long and extensive and it seems daily more symptoms emerge. As a result of his accident, Mike has suffered a concussion, severe lung contusions, a hematoma inside his sternum, contusions on his back, abdomen and legs, broken nose cartridge and what is yet to be discovered. They are now checking for potential injuries to his lungs, neck and spine. He also has mobility issues as he has pulled just about every muscle in his body.

He has a long road to recovery aheads of him and is incredibly worried about the financial implications of this. He is one of my oldest and best friends, so I on behalf of him have set up this GofundMe to help him during his recovery. So that at a minimum, he has less to worry about. This is the time that he needs a village, his village to help him while he recovers. If you could please donate something no matter how small it is, I know he will be incredibly appreciative.
