You know Michael Loman for his years of Fancy Dancing, performances as NDN Elvis, dancing, speaking, and sharing his culture with kids at schools, summer camps, at church's and more. You've seen him in commercials, on Reservation Dogs, and behind the microphone running karaoke at your favorite venues for years.
But now you also know him for having extensive knee surgery. What was originally going to be a simple torn-meniscus surgery ended up becoming a much more invasive operation as the doctor discovered that the cartilage had been flaking away, exposing bone on bone, with a lot of arthritis.

Unfortunately he will still be in a brace for another few weeks before going to physical therapy - meaning he will not be able to dance at all for a year.

Loman is no stranger to medical operations since just a couple years ago he underwent surgery to remove cancer on his kidney.

This GoFundMe is an opportunity to give back to a man who has brought smiles to our faces, joy to our hearts, and helped keep traditional native dances alive.
He has made it clear that he isn't asking for a lot, just a little bit of help to cover bills until he can get back to working!
