With broken hearts, we are sharing that Michael has passed away.

Everything changed incredibly quickly. Michael was surrounded by love, and while his family is devastated, they are grateful that he is no longer suffering. He is whole, he is at peace, and he is with God.

Michael leaves behind his wife, Tonya, and his son, Hunter, who is preparing to return to college. Tonya’s parents also live in their home, making this loss not only heartbreaking but life-changing for an entire household that depended on Michael’s presence and support.

The money raised through this GoFundMe will now go directly toward helping Michael’s family with funeral and memorial expenses, household bills, everyday living expenses, and Hunter’s college needs as they begin figuring out life without him.

This family has been through more than anyone should have to carry in such a short amount of time. They should not also have to worry about how they will pay the next bill, keep the household running, or make sure Hunter can continue his education while they are grieving.
