Michael Jr is my 20-year-old son, and our world changed forever when he was in a devastating automobile accident. The accident left him a quadriplegic, and since then, he has been fighting for his life every single day. Michael is a passionate gamer and has always loved learning about guns. Like any young person, he dreams of living as normal a life as possible, despite the challenges he now faces.

Since the accident, our family has been doing everything we can to support Michael Jr. I had to leave my job to provide him with the round-the-clock care he needs, and now we are relying solely on my husband’s income. The financial strain has been overwhelming, especially because so many of the special devices, therapies, and care Michael needs are not covered by insurance. We are determined to give him every opportunity to regain independence and enjoy the things he loves, but we can’t do it alone.
