it is with great sadness in my heart that I announce my father Michael John gottshalk passed away in his home, with my mother by his side this morning . My father was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer the beginning of this year. we stayed by his side while he went through two rounds of radiation and five harsh rounds of chemo. About two months ago we were told that things were looking up. the tumor had shrunk and moved off of his lung , So we did not expect to lose this amazing man so so soon. My father was the type of man to help anyone and everyone! he was always so happy and would talk to anyone that gave him the time of day! He was just this amazing die hard eagles fan with the biggest heart! With that being said I am asking for help for my father’s cremation and services as this came so suddenly we were not prepared. My family appreciates any kind of help at this time thank you
