Support Michael in Keeping His Grandparents' Home

Hello, my name is Michael. Back in March of 2024, my grandfather passed away due to bladder cancer, which devastated the entire family, especially my grandmother. Since his passing, my grandmother had to move in with my mom as she is unable to live alone, and now my grandparents' house is up for sale.

I am raising funds to get enough money for a down payment as well as closing costs to buy my grandparents' home.

My grandfather spent his entire adult life working on his home, turning it into something special for my grandmother and his family. Me and my family spent every Christmas morning at this home for many decades; it's seen both the good times and the hard times. My grandfather spent many hours in the basement, which he made his own workshop, enjoying his hobby of carving birds out of wood, and he took great pride in his vegetable garden, growing enormous tomatoes every summer.

As my grandfather got older, I helped him with much of the upkeep of the home as well as many repairs, such as rebuilding the walkway we created out of stones from the local river.

I want myself and my family to continue to be able to spend holidays and enjoy memories here. My best childhood memories took place at this home, and I can't imagine someone else moving in here and not putting the same love into it as my grandfather did.
