Hello everyone,
My name is Michael Hall, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. After many years of farming in South Carolina and relying on the USDA Farm Service Agency for financial support, I faced serious health issues—Throat Cancer and Emphysema—that forced me to go on disability in 2018. At that time, I believed I had paid off all my debts to the Farm Service Agency, but in April of this year I was shocked to learn I still owe them $17,000, and they have refused a reasonable settlement offer. They are now threatening to foreclose on my farm and home if the full amount isn’t paid immediately.
I never expected to be in this position, especially after so many years of hard work. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has already supported me by donating, sharing, or praying—it means more than words can express. We’ve made some progress, but there is still a long way to go and time is running out.
If you are able to help in any way, even a small donation would be truly appreciated. Please consider supporting one of your fellow American farmers and help me stop the foreclosure on my home. Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support. God bless.
