The Rose Marie lost her captain to the sea on November 14, 2021. Michael Furlong of Kingston, MA passed away after an accident on his lobster boat doing what he loved best, providing for his family and fishing.

Michael was a beloved son of Rose and the late Edward Furlong, devoted husband to Dina (Brock) Furlong, loving father to Hannah Parent and Matthew Furlong, and adored grandpa to Joy Parent. Any sudden death leaves a great hole in a family and this is no exception. Mike was the provider in the household, allowing Dina to devote herself to family and her church. We are fundraising to help Dina with any costs that arise out of his passing and as she finds herself widowed. Mike loved his family and was always helping his family and community with his hard work.

We are trying to raise money for any expenses the family needs during this difficult time.
