On August 18th, Michael Ferra crashed his motorcycle while riding on Grimes Canyon. During the accident, he broke 3 vertebrae in his lower back, broke his pelvis in 4 places, broke his clavicle, and his sacrum, causing him to be hospitalized. After being transferred from one hospital to another for trauma, he had surgery on August 22nd to fix his pelvis.

He has a long road to recovery. He will be out of work, and in physical therapy to regain his ability to walk for quite some time and any help would be greatly appreciated.
