Support Michael Christianson's Medical Battle

Hello, my name is River. I’m making this GoFundMe for my brother-in-law Michael Christianson. Michael is a month away from his 30th birthday and served in the Army National Guard for 8 years and a man of God. May 13th he went to the dentist where he found out he had multiple infected teeth that needed to be pulled. They gave him antibiotics to start the process of getting rid of the infection. By May 15th he couldn’t swallow and his body was swollen and grey. He went to Logan Health and was admitted, because the infection had turned into Necrotizing Fasciitis (flesh-eating-bacteria) in his neck and chest. Michael was rushed into his first of many surgeries Thursday night. After surgery the doctors told Michael’s wife McKayla that had they pulled the teeth the infection would have spread faster and ultimately killed him. The Doctors and McKayla made the decision to Life Flight Michael to Seattle HarborView Medical Center where he will receive the care he needs to fight this life threatening infection. He was given a 20 to 80% survival rate.

My sister, McKayla is there with him now but due to the seriousness of this infection she is unable to stay with him in the hospital.
