Support Michael Cavalier Jr's Stroke Recovery

Greetings!

Family, friends, acquaintances, and those I have not had the pleasure to meet.

My name is Cymel Cavalier(Abdul). My son Michael Cavalier, Jr. at the young age of 38 has suffered a massive stroke due to a blood clot on the right side of his brain.

The trauma he experienced from the stroke has affected the right side of the brain and his mobility in left arm and leg.

We thank God he survived one brain surgery! He will require another brain surgery in December.

Ridiculously, during this time his medical insurance was canceled by his job due to his inability to work.

As he is making progress, he currently requires daily rehabilitation, many doctor visits and around the clock care.

Unfortunately, he is located in Atlanta. However, I reside in Houston with his brother, Brandon and sister, Briana. It will take much time before he is released to us in Houston.

Therefore, we are currently working on finding a place for him in Atlanta that provides disability access until we can move him to Houston where he will continue his medical regiment in our family home.

This is a very difficult time for my family, and as we try to do the best we can, it just isn’t enough without assistance.

On behalf of my son, Michael, Jr, I am asking and praying for financial assistance until state programs begin.

I have no clue how much it will take overall but thought this goal would be helpful.
