Hi. I'm Joni Carpenter Bensinger. My husband is Richard Bensinger. We lost our son, Michael, on February 14th 2016 in an auto accident at the age of 24. We established the Michael Carpenter Memorial Fund. This fund gives a yearly scholarship to a graduating Jim Thorpe HS football player who exemplifies some characteristics of our Michael... dedication, sportsmanship, humor, kind

heartedness. It is also used to fund the football team as needed and used in the community to help with MVA survivor needs. We are requesting donations to help keep Michael's Fund going to keep his memory and kind open hearted fun spirit alive here. We chose his charities because of his love for football.
