On April 5th, after celebrating a two-year-old’s birthday party, our beloved uncle, Michael Carlson suffered a stroke. Since that day, he has been in hospitals and rehab care, unable to return to work. He is currently undergoing speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. While Medicare is covering much of his medical care, the bills are piling up and the financial strain is growing heavier each day.
Michael hasn’t been able to work since his stroke, and it’s uncertain when he’ll be able to return. We are asking for help to cover his rent, living expenses, and mounting bills during this difficult time.
If you know Michael, you know how kind, generous, and selfless he is — a true verbal acrobat, always ready to listen to your problems or share a story to lift your spirits.
Anyone who has ever worked in the service industry knows how close many are to financial hardship — sometimes just one illness or accident away. His future is uncertain right now and we would be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer. We are also asking for prayers. We love him so much.
Thank you for anything you can give to help Michael as he fights to recover. Every little bit helps.
