Support Michael Beggs' Stroke Recovery

Michael Beggs has spent the better part of three decades helping other people through his work as a Fire Lieutenant and EMT, as well as with his work in our local hospitals and ambulance service. When not helping others, Mike is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys building boats, and taking care of his family. However, his ability to enjoy these things in the way he is used to is up in the air at the moment. It’s time for us to step up and help him however possible; this GoFundMe is just one way we are trying to do that.

In the beginning of 2025, Mike suffered a significant stroke and was rushed to the hospital to undergo emergency surgery. He is still in the hospital undergoing extensive rehabilitation. Though this is a blow to his family, friends, and colleagues, we are hopeful that he will get back on his feet, however defining what his “new normal” will be can only come with time as many of his motor functions are at a deficit.

This GoFundMe is to help offset the costs of medical bills and lost wages during this time and all funds are going directly to his wife Kim.
