My name is Michael Beadle, and this appeal comes from a place of deep love and responsibility.
I was born and raised in Savanna La-Mar, a costal town in southwestern Jamaica. I migrated to the US in 1995, but most of my family continues to reside in Jamaica. My 93 year old grandmother, my aunts, and many cousins reside not only in Westmoreland parish, where Sav La-Mar is located, but also in St. Elizabeth and Trelawny.
Today, many of my family members and loved ones in these parishes find themselves living in devastating and urgent conditions. Hurricane Melissa, a category 5 storm, directly impacted southwestern Jamaica on October 28, 2025. In the wake of this storm daily survival is a struggle. In the hardest hit areas, like Sav La-Mar, infrastructure, homes and schools are damaged. Access to clean water, electricity, and internet may not be restored for months.
These families cannot rebuild without help, and I am humbly asking for your support.
If you know me - and you know my heart - you know that I will personally ensure that every donation reaches real people, real families, and real needs.
❤ How Your Donation Will Help
Funds will be utilized to support the hardest hit areas in Jamaica, and all items will be personally delivered by myself and my family in the coming weeks. My goal is to provide the following items to families, churches, schools and community centers:
• Generators
• Starlink Systems for communication and internet access
• Emergency household needs for struggling families
• Supplies for children and elderly family members
If You Can’t Donate
Please share this link with your network.
Your share alone could put help in the hands of someone who desperately needs it.
Jamaica is not just a place — it’s a spirit, a community, a family.
And right now, our people in these parishes need us.
From the bottom of my heart,
Thank you for helping me help my people and my homeland.
Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference.
One love. One Jamaica. One family.
