Dear community of Michael Bauer friends, family and loved ones,

With heavy hearts but unwavering hope, we share the news that our beloved friend Michael Bauer has been diagnosed with inoperable stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Just a week ago, Mike and his family’s world was turned upside down by this life-altering diagnosis.

Mike is a family first kind of man, husband to Danielle and father to Isabella (13), Beau (11), Isley (7) and Benny (7 months), brother, son and friend who is truly one of a kind. Now, as he embarks on the fight of his life, we are rallying behind the Bauer family to provide the support they need.

Mike’s first chemotherapy session will take place in the next few weeks to come, marking the beginning of what will be a long and challenging journey. Despite the difficulties ahead, Mike is facing this fight with incredible strength and determination.

While Mike’s focus needs to be on rest and healing, the reality is that cancer care is incredibly expensive. For the treatment he urgently needs, medications, appointments, time off work and the day‑to-day costs of living, we are asking for support from our community to help ease this burden on the Bauer family. Your support will help cover medical bills and provide stability for Mike, Danielle, Izzy, Beau, Eisley and Benny during this incredibly difficult time.

Although this diagnosis will profoundly alter Mike’s life, it has not changed the person he is. If you know Mike, you know his heart of gold and selflessness.
