Support Michael and Elaine's Medical Needs

My name is Michael Teufel. I live with and help my elderly mother Elaine Teufel who has many unfortunate medical issues. I myself am having some. We both lost our jobs that we were working remotely from home from a company that we both worked at for many years. I worked there 7 years, and she worked there almost 20. I had surgery on my Scrotum and its extremely inconvenienced me but needed to happen. It makes me have to find work from home due to special needs of bathroom, and limited abilities in movement. I am a large man who is trying to lose weight and make it easier but it's a process as many may know. It is also difficult due to my bandaged area. My mother is my nurse who stuffs the open surgical wound with wet gauze every day to keep it clean and let it heal from inside out. But she has started to get diabetic neuropathy in her legs making it hurt to walk and move much. We both are diabetic. And Insulin is extremely expensive. Besides that, she has a metal plate in her neck and when she was younger, she cut her finger while working on the engine of her coffee truck and that finger doesn't move anymore. She has constant sciatic and back pain and is on a plentiful number of meds from her doctor. We ran out of unemployment, and she can only get partial social security. 1000 dollars a month is what we both are trying to live off of. I try every day to get a job I can do online but it's all sales or requires in house training despite being remote. The bills are stacking, and we skip medicines to stretch them out but now it's an emergency. I found out she hasn't been able to pay the taxes on the house my late uncle owned, and we live in, for almost 5 years. If she doesn't pay at least the 7,000 by January, we lose the house. Overall, she owes 40,000. I have Medicaid and she has Medicare, but they don't cover enough. We still pay more than social pays us in medicine. So, I am hoping while I continue to try and find work that maybe there are some generous people out there who can afford to help a family that is down on their luck big time. I know this is a big ask but if we can reach the goal, it would be a miracle to my family. I could focus more on improving our life with physical therapy and diet and exercise. Be able to get healthier food. If you can afford to help and feel it in your heart too, please help. If you can't we would appreciate just some kind thoughts and prayers. I never wanted to ask others for help but sometimes you reach a point where pride must step aside, and you need to try for the sake of your family.
