Hello Everyone, my name is Lois Overholser and I am creating this GoFundMe to assist my brother and sister-in-law as they battle their infertility journey. Infertility being something my family experienced as well is something that I would never wish on anyone, and it breaks my heart knowing what they have gone through to try to grow their family. Michael and Brandi started dating in 2019. Fast forward to November 11, 2023 they got married and were ready to build a family. They tried for several months with negative tests always being the outcome. They began to see doctors to check things out and all results would come back normal. Then in July of 2024 they finally saw that positive test and found out they were pregnant! However, Brandi began to have a few complications which then a week later turned into a tragedy that ended with her being hospitalized with a ruptured fallopian tube and ectopic pregnancy. After emergency surgery, she not only lost the pregnancy but also lost her right fallopian tube and found out that she was bleeding internally. They were heartbroken as anyone would be.

They took a break from everything to heal emotionally and physically. After some time and doing more testing recommended by their OB, they were referred to a fertility clinic. The fertility doctor has given them hope, and they have been told that IVF would be the safest option. This has been a dream of Michael and Brandi's, and we want to help them in any way that we can. IVF of course comes at a cost and after everything they have already been through, we would love nothing more than to help their dream of becoming a family become a reality.
