Micalyn Amore Bradshaw was a loving brother to five siblings, an incredible son, nephew, cousin, and friend. His bright smile and infectious laugh endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. On the morning of September 29, 2024, at the age of 19, Micalyn’s life was tragically cut short. He was shot at his own home, likely while bravely protecting his siblings and belongings during what appeared to be a car robbery attempt. The full story remains under investigation.

On that tragic morning, Micalyn’s mother was coming home from work, leaving his older brother and two younger siblings at home. They were jolted awake by the commotion. As Micalyn rushed into the home to check on his siblings, he collapsed at the front door. His mother, on the phone, and his siblings surrounding him, performed CPR as they waited for EMS, bearing the devastating aftermath of the violence that had unfolded.
