Hello Everyone!
I'm Micah Narys, a neuroqueer working individual who has been trying to keep things afloat in this current world.
For background: I am the sole provider for my fiance and I (he is disabled and hasn't worked since 2019) and we live in a mother-in-law space provided by our landlord, but we barely have room to do our own hobbies without converging into each other. $1400 a month for 380 sq ft, and it's about time we moved out and find a bigger space (hopefully for less). We have found some listings locally that work better for me to be closer to work, but the revenue department of the state I live in isn't giving me my full tax credit. That and federal taxes are actually cutting into my paychecks.
The current plan is to try and raise money before May so we can, by our lease, be able to move out. That's where you come in: by donating, you're helping us improve our lives little by little so we can be able to have a more sustainable life. Every donation helps, and it keeps us safe from houselessness.
A majority of the donations are for saving a security deposit, which with my current funds we cannot provide. Others are for fixing things in our current place (our washer has been non-functional for almost a year now, we have cleaning supplies to buy), moving expenses, and other unexpected things that might appear in the process.
Thank you so much for reading, and if you can't donate, please share this around to anyone you can who might be able to! We'll update with donations as well as any information that happens to come by (lease issues, landlord notifications, etc.).
