My name is Micah Hostetler. I have recently graduated and have been pursuing my next steps toward my future. I have grown a lot over the last year serving in my church with music ministry, youth leadership, and working full time. God placed it on my heart this year to go where I can experience more in depth mentorship, be exposed to more cultures, and bring Christ's love to more peoples.
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) has interested me for a few years and the Lord has laid it on my heart to do a Discipleship Training Program (DTS). It is 6 months long altogether and is done in two phases. The first phase is the lecture phase where I will be having 12 weeks of lectures designed for deep character building, biblical worldview in every sphere of society, missional lifestyle, and more. The second phase is the outreach phase which I will be spending 8 weeks on the field overseas doing hands on ministry and gaining a better understanding of God's heart for every nation and every people group!
I have chosen to go to YWAM SEVEN PEAKS in the big sky country of Montana at the end of September of 2024. Just a couple months away! This Florida boy is excited for a change of scenery. I know this time with YWAM will grow me spiritually and I hope will help develop my gifts to be a more effective light to those around me.
I want to reach out to you specifically to not only share a bit about my heart and my “why” behind going to YWAM, but also to ask you to consider supporting me by finances or by prayer. YWAM SEVEN PEAKS costs around $10,000 for the entire program including travel expenses. I have been working full time over this past year and have been saving diligently to have this opportunity to spread the gospel and am hoping to meet as much of this cost as I can. I am seeking financial support in the form of donations and fundraising for a combined completion of the balance. By partnering with me in this season, you are directly helping to spread the gospel to those who have never heard it before.
