Please Help Micah, Ryan, and Micro Preemie Rylee

My sweet best friend and her husband welcomed their baby girl, Rylee Jade Seely Girton, into this world at 23 weeks and 6 days, weighing only 1 pound and 3 little ounces. Four months before her expected due date.

After some abnormal ultrasound findings, Micah had an unexpected surgery to keep Rylee in as long as possible. She was sent home with activity restrictions leaving her unable to work. Just a week later Micah went into labor and was flown to a high-risk medical center 3 hours away from their home. She was admitted for the remainder of her pregnancy which was anticipated to last several more weeks or even months.

Rylee made a sudden and prompt entrance on February 27th, 2023. She has already proven herself to be a strong little fighter just like her mom and dad! It's going to be a long road ahead for this new family and baby Rylee as she continues to fight.

Because Micah was flown to this hospital for the high-level NICU, they are hours from their home. Due to these circumstances, her newlywed husband will be driving to and from their home and the hospital regularly as he continues to work.

It is anticipated that Rylee will have at least 3 months in the NICU.

No doubt, the cost of parenthood is expensive as it is. This unexpected emergency scenario has now added a new intense level of financial burden with medical costs accruing on top of missing work to presently support Rylee's fight to survive and thrive.
