My name is Mia Rudy, I am 18 years old, and I just graduated from Flagstaff High School. I have been given the opportunity to travel to Kona, Hawaii, this upcoming October for a missions trip. This trip is run by the YWAM Ships Kona DTS (Discipleship Training School) organization, where you train for 3 months on discipleship in Hawaii and travel to nations around the world to spread the love of God (this is called the training phase). Then, for the next 3 months, I will go on a mission in a specific area that won’t be decided until after my training (this is called the outreach phase).

This opportunity is one I know I will never forget and has been a dream of mine for a while. I truly feel God is calling me to take this big step into the world to grow deeper in my relationship with Jesus and allow families in the nations to gain the knowledge of the love of our Lord and Savior. I trust God has a big plan for me, and I believe this could be the beginning of great things.

I truly appreciate those who are taking the time to consider helping me make my dream come true. The amount needed for both the training and outreach phase of the mission trip goes up to $10,000. Although there is a bit of uncertainty about the price, I have faith God will provide, and every little bit will help greatly. I need to have my funds raised by September 23rd to cover my program expenses. I will provide the link to this organization for those who would like to look into it more.
