Support Mia's Surgery for Spinal Spondylolisthesis
Donation protected
Mia, the sweet daughter of my dear friends Vanessa and Joe, is a strong and spirited young girl who absolutely loves basketball and softball. Right now, Mia is facing a difficult medical journey and her family needs our support more than ever.
Recently, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Spondylolisthesis, a serious spinal condition that now requires spinal fusion surgery that is scheduled for October 22 at Akron Children’s Hospital. This surgery will prevent Mia from slipping into Stage 4, which could lead to increased pain and the devastating risk of paralysis. This surgery is critical. Afterward, she’ll face six months of required physical therapy to heal and rebuild her strength.
This diagnosis has deeply impacted Mia and her family, emotionally and financially. Mia had to step away from the sport she loves to protect her spine, and the mounting medical bills are already overwhelming with the most difficult part still ahead.
We’re hoping to ease some of this burden so her family can focus on what matters most. Mia’s healing and well-being. If you feel moved to give, any amount would mean the world. Your support will help cover surgery costs, therapy, travel, and other needs during this challenging time.
