This is my sweet Mia. She recently suffered an eye injury after being scratched in the eye by my cat, and despite multiple trips to the vet and medication, her condition has suddenly gotten much worse. I woke up this morning to find her eye in a very alarming state, there was a lot of blood coming out of her eye and I’m devastated and scared for her.

I’ve already spent over $600 trying to get her the care she needs, and now I’m being told this could be a severe emergency—possibly even that her eye has ruptured. If that’s the case, she may need urgent surgery, which could cost several thousand dollars.

I am currently waiting to hear back from the emergency vet and will be taking her in as soon as possible. Mia means everything to me, and I just want to do whatever I can to relieve her pain and give her the best chance at recovery.
