We’re a nonprofit, skater-run league on a mission to empower our community through roller derby — and we need your help.

For over 14 years, Miami Roller Derby (MRD) has brought fast-paced, full-contact roller derby to the Magic City. But more than that, we’ve built a community. We are a diverse group of women, non-binary, and gender-expansive athletes who come together to challenge ourselves, uplift one another, and represent the strength and resilience of Miami.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, every dollar we raise goes directly back into growing the sport, serving our community, and keeping roller derby alive and accessible in South Florida.

What Your Donation Supports:

Practice Space & Bout Venues – Our biggest expense. We need a safe, consistent place to train and compete.

Storage fees– Our track and gear need a secure home when not in use.

Truck & Trailer Rentals – We transport our entire track setup to every game — it takes a village!

Travel to Bouts & Tournaments – We represent Miami across Florida and the U.S., competing against other leagues.

Community Outreach & Events – We host open skates, bootcamps, and partner with local organizations to promote wellness, inclusion, and empowerment through sport.

Training & Development – We invest in coaching, officiating, and skater education to grow stronger on and off the track.
