The students of Miami Lakes Middle School who have studied the U.S. Constitution in depth this year are comprised of seventh and eighth graders. Their areas of study range from the philosophical foundations of our government to the responsibilities of citizenship.

There are no tryouts at Miami Lakes Middle for a chance to compete in this competition. Instead, students are apart of the Legal III Magnet. They work extremely hard and really work to earn the recognition that comes with winning a national competition. In fact, we are a Title I school with a magnet and an academy.

Our students are very resilient. They have worked hard to prove themselves worthy of representing their county. We are eager for any publicity that would help us advance to the next level. From adversity they emerged more united and more determined to win.

Please send these students to the We the People: the Citizen and the Constitution National Competition. Our goal is to collect $2,200 by April 15th. The money we receive will go towards the cost of our participation fee since we chose the zoom option this year.

Please help us achieve our financial goal by spreading this link on different social media platforms!
