On October 10 of last year, I suffered a massive stroke that changed my life in an instant. I spent an entire month in intensive care, hospital, and inpatient rehab, fighting every day to regain my strength and independence. I am incredibly grateful to still be here, and each step forward feels like a victory. Now, I am able to walk, shower, and cook on my own, and I have returned to work as a dispatcher after losing my medical card for my CDL.
The journey hasn't been easy. I am still in outpatient therapy, and as a single person, this incident has nearly wiped out my savings. The financial strain of ongoing medical co-pays and recovery expenses is overwhelming, and I am doing my best to stay positive and hopeful. Your support will help me cover these costs and give me peace of mind as I continue to regain my independence. I have come a long way—from a wheelchair, to a walker, to leaving my cane in the truck—and every bit of help makes a difference.
Thank you so very much for your support. Your kindness means the world to me as I continue my recovery and work toward a brighter future. I am deeply grateful for any help you can offer.
