Hello, I'm Mia Lima. I am a singer-songwriter/performer from Haiti. For as long as I can remember, I have loved music and dancing. My dream is to channel this passion into making my own EP. Won't you help to make my dream come true?

My EP titled "Perception" will consist of six tracks and explore a range of genres such as Afro-Beat, R&B/Pop, and a touch of Caribbean (Haiti) vibe. My EP sort of resembles a journal. It's me connecting the dots, going as far back into my childhood as possible, to get a sense of who I am today and how much of it is a byproduct of my upbringing and my environment growing up.

The first song I wrote is called "This Is Me Now" and without knowing it at the time, ended up kickstarting this entire project. All six songs are written and composed. The next step is to record them and that requires a producer, studio sessions, travel, perseverance and more.

Last year, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a K-Pop program in California. The reason I was able to go was due to generous support from family, friends, and many others. My experience with K-Pop led me to a greater understanding of the music industry and pushed me to figure out who I am as an artist. This EP is the first chapter of my journey into self-discovery as an artist.
