Support Mia Faith Barber's NICU Journey

World, meet Mia Faith Barber.

As you can probably tell, she's on the small side — 544 grams (1lb 3oz) to be exact. She weighs as much as two cans of Campbell's chicken noodle soup.

Mia made her entrance at 23 weeks. Right now, she's about the size of a mango. Just when she was beginning to hear her mom's voice for the first time, she came out into a much louder world.

We are reaching out to share the story of this feisty little miracle who has joined our family far sooner than anyone could have anticipated.

Her early arrival has brought challenges that no parent--even prepared and experienced parents like Andrew and Cristina--could ever prepare for. We don't know exactly what their road looks like from here. We know at the very least, they're looking at months in the NICU, which will take them up to when they expected to meet Mia for the first time, December 15, and when even more hard work begins. Each day she fights with a strength that humbles us and brings us right back to God's glory and goodness.

However, with this journey comes an overwhelming financial burden. Their medical bills are staggering. There is no way Andrew and Cristina will be able to cover them all themselves.

Fortunately, we have a community we can ask for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards Mia's medical and related expenses. Your generosity will help ease the financial strain on their family of five, allowing Andrew and Cristina to focus on what truly matters—being there for Mia.
