My name is Al Dugas, and I started this GoFundMe account to raise funds for my daughter, Mia Dugas.

Mia is 22 years old and currently fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which is a type of cancer affecting her immune system. Mia is a recent 2024 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors in Animal Science. After several doctor appointments, scans, and a biopsy, the cancer was confirmed one month after she graduated. As a result, Mia had to leave her job and put her graduate studies on hold so she could fight this cancer.
