Mia is a wonderful friend, wife, and mother who has always brought warmth and kindness to those around her. At just 33 years old, Mia was diagnosed with incredibly rare FCC liver cancer in late December. She did not have any symptoms leading up to the diagnosis, which is normal for this kind of cancer. Mia bravely underwent surgery in February, having half of her liver removed in hopes of beating the disease. Unfortunately, during her three-month checkup in June, Mia received devastating news: the cancer had returned, and this time it was much more aggressive.

As if battling cancer wasn’t hard enough, Mia was also fired from her job because of her diagnosis. This has left her and her family facing not only the emotional and physical toll of cancer, but also the financial strain that comes with it. Mia is starting treatment tomorrow, and the road ahead will be challenging. These funds will be used to help support Mia and her family during this time, covering essential expenses and giving them some peace of mind so they can focus on her health.
