Hi everyone. I hate having to ask for help, but my cat Mezz needs an emergency surgery.

Mezz is my 2 year old orange tabby cat and is the definition of personality. He's an endless ball of social energy, curiosity, and love. Until now, he’s been a healthy, playful, happy little soul who fills my life with joy every single day.

In the last few days, Mezz showed symptoms of pain and distress and was found to have a genetically caused urinary blockage, which is deadly if it isn’t treated immediately. His surgery is already scheduled and will happen within the next 24–48 hours. Without it, he wouldn’t make it.

The cost of the surgery and emergency care is $3,000–$4,000, and it’s more than I can handle on my own.
