Support Mezzo Forte's Journey to the ICCA Quarterfinal

Hello everyone! We are Mezzo Forte Acapella. Mezzo Forte Acapella is a first-year acapella group from Iowa State University made up of 12 SATB singers. Our presidents have been working since May 2024 to get this group up and running, and our wonderful members have been writing music and practicing for hours in and out of rehearsals for months. We are extremely excited to announce that through the hard work of our group, we were recently accepted into the regional quarterfinal round of the Varsity Vocals ICCA! For those unaware, ICCA stands for International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (the same competition depicted in Pitch Perfect). We will be headed to the regional quarterfinal on February 1st at Rococo Theatre in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This is an exhilarating opportunity for us, but it is also expensive. The application itself was $400, and we will have to pay for transportation, housing, and food for all 12 members on our road trip. Each member has already paid their dues for the trip and supporting the group, but we would love to keep costs down, as we don't want price to be an issue for any of our group members. We will also run various fundraisers at Iowa State University such as bake sales and mini-performances to support this trip.
