Mesha Eichelberger Randall, my niece, has always been a source of strength and compassion for others. As a former Oncology Registered Nurse, she dedicated her career to caring for patients during some of their most difficult moments. Unfortunately, Mesha was recently administratively terminated from her job because her health conditions—fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease in her lower back, and other physical challenges—made it impossible for her to continue working. She was not yet vested for long-term disability, and the sudden loss of her salary has placed a tremendous strain on her family.

Despite these hardships, Mesha has remained resilient. She has written a book to help educate the public about living with fibromyalgia and other chronic illness, hoping to raise awareness and support for others facing similar struggles. However, while she works to get her book published and create a new source of income, her family is facing immediate financial needs. Everyday essentials like gas, electricity, car insurance, and other bills have become difficult to manage.
