Support Merrick's Journey to Recovery

We, at the Bisbee Animal Shelter, are reaching out to our amazing community with a plea for help!

We were brought in this amazingly sweet "chocolate" kitty who is in need of serious medical care.

We have named him Merrick, for the strength he has displayed, despite his severe injury.

Merrick has several very large wounds, of unknown origin, over his hips, tail, and back end. His wounds are unfortunately full of necrotic tissue and infection. We are unsure how long Merrick has had to suffer from these wounds, or how he got them.

Merrick will be seen at Civano Animal Hospital in Tucson on an emergency basis, and we could really use your help to help Merrick get the care he deserves.

At this time, we are not sure what his care will look like, but we will keep everyone updated! Any funds received will go directly to paying Civano Animal Hospital and towards his ongoing medical care.
