Help Me Take Care of My Mom: A Fight for Her Life

Hi, my name is Merian Ríos, and today I find myself in the difficult position of asking for help for one of the most important people in my life—my mom.

This past Sunday, my mom suffered a stroke and a heart attack. Since then, she has been fighting for her life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Her condition is critical and requires constant medical attention, specialized treatments, medications, testing, and—if all goes well—a long road to recovery and rehabilitation.

The medical costs are adding up quickly, and although I’m doing everything I can to cover them, the reality is that they’re more than I can handle alone. That’s why I’ve decided to start this campaign: to raise funds to help pay for hospital bills, medications, and other urgent expenses related to her care.

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference. And if you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this story is also a huge help. More than ever, I need the support of my community, my friends, and anyone with a compassionate heart.
