Support Meri & Greg's Recovery from Devastation

On Sept 27th, 2024, Hurricane Helene hit many states, causing pure devastation to anything in its path. Unfortunately, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Meri & Greg's city of Black Mountain, NC, and most of its surrounding cities experienced flooding and mudslides like never seen since the 1700s. Death tolls continue to increase, with 30 so far confirmed in their area. Entire towns have been destroyed. In its path was their home. Meri & Greg were on vacation when the storm hit. All they have now is what they brought with them. The entire area cannot be accessed by roads, most under feet of mud or destroyed. There is no electricity, gas, cell service, or water. They have started the process of filing all the paperwork needed, but that can take months with so many people affected. Their house is unlivable, and their furniture and possessions were underwater and mud. Everything will have to be replaced. In addition, Greg's truck and their trailer were taken downstream and most likely totaled. Since they are now displaced, Meri is out of a job. Please consider supporting them with whatever financial assistance you are able to provide. This will help supply them with whatever they might need until their lives can go back to normal, which may take a while.
