As some of you may know, our fun-loving, kindhearted, one-of-a-kind friend, mom, daughter, fiancé, and sister, Meredith, was recently diagnosed with cancer. After a procedure on February 7, she underwent three emergency surgeries, followed by 5 weeks in the hospital due to multiple complications. She underwent a multitude of tests, procedures, blood transfusions, dialysis, and physical rehabilitation, none of which addressed the cancer. While she is still recovering from everything her body has already gone through, she is just now at the point in her journey where she will soon be starting treatment for the cancer. If you know Meredith, you know she would give a stranger the shirt off her back and expect nothing in return. She has a nurturing, servant’s heart. She would never in a million years ask for help. She’s the helper, the caretaker …

So, Steph and I are going to ask for your support for her. Meredith needs our help. Besides the medical bills for 5 weeks in the hospital that required life-saving surgeries and treatments, extensive testing, ICU/PCU level of care, followed by rehabilitation, she has been off work for many weeks now and hasn’t even started her cancer treatment. The doctors say she will be unable to work for the majority of her treatment, which will likely be 3-4 months at least. Given she has overwhelming medical bills and will be unable to work for a long while, we are asking that you help by donating here to alleviate some of the financial burden and stress, so she can focus on treatment and healing.
