My sister Meredeth for many years has dedicated her life to help others as a social worker. It brought her purpose and joy to serve the individuals in her community. Unfortunately her health had taken a devastating turn and she is the one to needs help.

She has been diagnosed with several chronic and life altering conditions, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, dysautonomia, gastric accommodation disorder, esophageal stricture, and cervical instability. These conditions cause constant pain , severe fatigue, dizziness, dislocations, fainting and digestive issues. Everyday activities that other people take for granted. Everyday activities became very difficult. There is no cure , only treatment to make her comfortable. During to the progressive nature of these illnesses she can no longer work or drive. She requires ongoing medical care, procedures and specialist appointments to manage her symptoms. She needs your help- losing her ability to work has also meant losing her financial stability. She has applied for disability but this is an ongoing process. She has exhausted her savings due to all these medical needs. Some of her treatments are not covered by insurance which she has to pay out of pocket. Her medical bills have become overwhelming.

Your generous support will help cover “medical bills , specialist visits , tests, and adaptive equipment “. The ability to receive care at the Carolina Functional Neurological Center, they do not take her insurance and she had not been able to go to surgery to cost.
