My name is Obiageli Anozie. I am an Embryologist working in Dallas, Texas. I am in need of help for my dear sister, Ms. Mercy Uwaya, who is diagnosed with Uterine Fibroids, Ovarian Cyst, and Severe Uterine Prolapse.

She had a prior fibroid surgery several years ago. The fibroids have reoccurred. This time they returned with a prolapse of the uterus and severe bleeding with huge clots, which has caused Mercy excruciating pain and constant dizziness. She has been rushed to the emergency room on about 6 occasions just to manage the pain. Imagine consuming pain medications for about 8 months nonstop.

This health challenge has caused some complications in her digestive system as well. She sometimes is unable to pass stool without severe pains. She constantly needs to take MiraLAX to enable her to pass stool.

Her doctor is estimating about $20,000 for her surgery. She also needs help to pay her rent as she has been unable to work for the past 6 weeks due to severe pains, which she's only managed with the use of pain medications. The side effects of the pain medications are taking their toll.

The accumulated financial bills are unimaginable. She has been unable to schedule a surgical intervention at this time due to financial constraints.

I am trying to raise financial support for her during this time.

We are trying to raise at least $30,000 so she can pay for her surgery, the accompanying costs for recovery, rent, and upkeep so she can get better and resume work as soon as possible.
