Support Merch Menagerie: 5 Years Strong

Hello friends and family! February 2025 marks the 5 year anniversary of my store Merch Menagerie in Fremont, CA. For these past 5 years I’ve endured a lot to keep this business afloat from opening a month before Covid shutdowns and having a flood in the building that damaged thousands of dollars of inventory.

I’ve never done a fundraiser or asked for help but I want to insure that the store will continue to grow and thrive. I figured I’d ask my friends and followers for a cash donation. I’m asking for small donations $5-20. Nothing too crazy. I know not everyone can get down and meet my hours but I wanted to reach out to everyone I know and see if I can get a little support.

It’s not easy running a store by yourself while still working a job and finding unique items to source. I’ve always done my best to buy people’s collections and charge fair prices. I wish I had more support in the store buy things have been slower than previous years in a lot of ways. Not to mention bills and rents have increased. Anything helps!

The GoFundMe also keeps track so I can give discounts to anyone that donates in the future. I like the idea that non local people can help on my journey with their donations

Thanks for reading this far. As far as what the money will be used for it’s mostly going to working capital and operating costs. I put everything I make back into the business so it’s hard for me to have an emergency fund or do normal things like take vacation. I know there are more noble and impoetant causes in the world but if you don’t ask then no one will help. This is what is important to me and I have to try my hardest to keep it alive.
