Hello, I'm Mercedes Ciardo. I'm asking for help because my family unfortunately just got robbed today on Christmas Day. We had left our home this morning around 10:15 am to go visit my husband's dad, who is in a nursing home and paralyzed, for a Christmas celebration. When we got home, our apartment was a disaster, and our front door was unlocked. My husband's and my bedroom window was broken in and shattered, and our TV was missing from our bedroom. Our 65" TV from our living room was gone. Our kids' Christmas presents got stolen, our projector, my husband's brand new headphones he got for Christmas, our rent money, our Christmas cards from family with gift cards and money in them... it's all gone. Whoever robbed us took everything from my family and my babies on Christmas Day. Worst Christmas ever. Anything helps get us back on our feet so we can pay rent again and not worry about an eviction along with us being robbed in the middle of winter on Christmas Day. The money would be used to help my family and me relocate to a nicer area, so we don't get robbed again. The police are currently working on our report, and the news is gonna have a story about this incident too.
