Everyone, meet Meowsie.

We adopted Meowsie from the Humane Society 6 months ago as a gift to our 4 year old daughter.

Meowsie is the sweetest companion- she’s gentle, patient, and our daughter’s best friend.

Meowsie stopped eating and drinking a couple of days ago. We took her into a local clinic and it turns out Meowsie has a blockage from something she swallowed that will most likely require surgery.

If I were to play Devils Advocate I know what every comment would be- do not own a pet unless you can afford to take care of any and all unexpected expenses that come with it.

I know. When we adopted Meowsie I had a stable job.

In the last few months I’ve transitioned careers and have moved into sales.

Which in fact has been great, but the downside on waiting for commissions is just that- the wait.

If this accident were to have happened a month from now I wouldn’t be in this position to have to ask for help but unfortunately here we are.

If you can spare anything, please do.

It will not go unnoticed and I look forward to the day I can pay the favor forward.
