As I am sure you are well aware, India is experiencing a tsunami second-wave of COVID-19 cases and deaths. Unfortunately, the Indian healthcare infrastructure is close to its breaking point. Thousands are dying daily with no access to oxygen, ventilators, hospital beds, or ambulance services. This is where we could use your help!
We are currently fundraising to help support the Mangushi General Hospital in Bilimora, Gujarat. Aside from the population in Bilimora, the Mangushi General Hospital serves individuals from many other small surrounding towns and villages. Currently, the hospital is without the necessary life-saving supplies it desperately needs to take care of Bilimora’s dying patients. As of now, the hospital has NO ventilators, NO oxygen concentrators, and limited oxygen supply. 100% of the funds we collect will go DIRECTLY to the hospital. **The money will be used BOTH to install an oxygen plant and to purchase oxygen concentrators, ventilators, and other necessary PPE, medications, etc.**
Our friends and family in the Bilimora region are suffering like never before and need our help! Though I was born and raised in the United States, I have fond memories of visiting Bilimora over the years. This hospital is special to me both because it is where my father worked after becoming a physician and because it is where both of my parents were born! I would love to give back to this vibrant community in their time of need. Please consider donating to this worthwhile cause.
