We ask that you help us raise funds for the Mendoza Family. My cousin Rosy suffered what every Mother fears and dreads most, receiving that call that her eledest son Eduardo had suffered an emergency at school and was rushed to the hospital.
No one could have prepared her or the family for what was to happen next. Her healthy and vibrant 9 year old son suffered cardiac arrest while simply playing at school. This could not have been predicted let alone expected.
After spending over 57 days in ICU and spending many sleepless nights wondering if she would ever be able to take her son home she is now blessed to have him at home.
The family is now getting used to a very different situation and a new reality as he is bed ridden and requires around the clock care that includes a feeding tube, administering medications now having a son unable to communicate as he used to.
The medical costs continue to pile up and Rosy has been forced to quit her job in order to care for her son full time as we all would.
This is has no short term solution as everyday presents a new challenge for Rosy and her family. We ask for your generosity and to remember that every $1 helps.
